Unsigned Italian necklace, probably by Baroness Luciana Aloisi de Reutern, who designed for Gucci and Elizabeth Arden and also exported directly to the United States. Circa 1965. Marked ITALY on the hook of the clasp. It has heavy dimensional articulated links enameled in a warm pink (warmer than the photos depict), and large brilliant colorless prong set rhinestones. With a hook clasp and chains at the back. A stunning and dramatic piece. I have another very similar Luciana necklace listed. Very much of the moment: statement necklaces are the "it" accessory of the season.

Wearable length is 14 1/2 inches. Just under 1 3/4 inches wide. Very good condition. There is a small loss to the enamel on one link toward the back (pictured). This is not noticeable when the piece is worn. Photos enlarged to show detail.
