Superchic vintage Lanvin necklace in goldtone with a metal and translucent Bakelite pendant which slides on a flexible snake chain. Circa 1965. Marked LANVIN PARIS on the back of the pendant and also with a metal hang tag in the form of a conjoined J and L, for Jeanne Lanvin. The Bakelite tests positive with Simichrome. With the recent resurgence of the house of Lanvin, vintage 1960s and 1970s Lanvin jewelry is hotter than ever. 16 1/2 inches wearable length. The pendant is an additional 2 5/8 inches long.
