A beautiful and early vintage sterling brooch in the form of a turtle, with a huge cut glass center stone, clear paste stones, and red glass stones as eyes. Circa 1920. Not marked but tests positive for sterling silver. Possibly French.

Great size for an early piece like this; 2 inches long by 1 1/2 inches wide by 3/4 inch deep. Excellent condition. There is some slight wear to the top of the center stone but it is not visible without a loupe. Photos enlarged to show detail.
