Beautiful antique French circa 1900 to 1920 long necklace or guard / muff chain in sterling silver with unusually large rock crystal stones, collet set, with a spring ring clasp attached to allow items to be hung from the chain. With the French boar’s head mark for sterling silver on the loop of the clasp. The connecting jump rings are all soldered. Inclusions can be seen in many of the crystals. The stones and settings are 11 mm in diameter and the stones are 10mm. There are 92 stones. 60 inches long. Excellent condition with very minor flea bites on the backs of several of the stones, as is common with these antique necklaces. Most are only visible with a loupe and none are noticeable when worn.
