Amazing set of two vintage 1970s turquoise beaded necklaces with sterling silver clasps. The beads are graduated and carved in soft barrel shapes. Hand knotted with matching silk thread. The necklace clasps are marked STERLING and also marked B.A.B. These are possibly Native American made; they came from an estate with a large quantity of Native American pieces. The turquoise beads have a fabulous hand carved softly polished slightly matte rustic finish. Together they weigh 272 grams. The larger necklace is 23 inches wearable length with the largest center bead 29mm by 23mm and the smallest beads 8mm by 5mm. The smaller necklace is 19 1/4 inches wearable length with the largest center bead 21mm by 17mm and the smallest beads 8mm by 6mm. Excellent condition. Display form is life size.
