Beautiful statement vintage 1970s glass necklace by Michael Moraux designing for his jewelry company Dubaux. American made with French glass beads and findings. Moraux was a 1973 Coty award winner for jewelry. Dubaux necklaces appeared on Vogue and Harper's Bazaar covers in the 1970s. Moraux also designed jewelry for Givenchy in the 1970s. Marked DUBAUX on attached metal tag at the spring ring clasp. With fabulous translucent green disk shaped poured glass beads simulating emeralds, faceted olive green beads, and large malachite glass beads, with large rhinestone rondelles, with silvertone metal terminals and clasp. 33 1/2 inches wearable length and the largest malachite glass beads are just under 1/2 inch. The beads are in excellent condition. The necklace is currently being restrung on softflex wire since it does not hang properly on its current monofilament string.
