Spectacular Schreiner brooch in silvertone metal with layers of fabulous large and small glass stones. 1960s, unsigned but with characteristic Schreiner construction, dogtooth settings, and inverted (points up) stones. I've added the long hand knotted glass beaded necklace so the brooch can also be worn as an enhancer. The stones include huge translucent marbled pale green with blue marbling emerald cut stones, opaque aqua round and marquise stones, olive green round inverted stones, and transparent aqua stones in baguette and marquise cuts. The brooch is 2 1/2 inches long by 2 1/4 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches deep. The beaded necklace is 58 inches long and beads are 8mm. Excellent condition. A previous owner reinforced the large stones with clear glue on the backs. This is visible on the backs of the stones only and does not show when worn. Display form is life size.
