Fabulous versatile vintage genuine lizard box bag in navy, with beautiful Art Deco revival two tone gold- and silvertone hardware, and a long shoulder strap which hinges down into the bag, allowing it to be used as a clutch. Marked RODO and ITALY on a goldtone metal plaque inside. The hardware is beautifully finished, with a textured "molten" effect at each end, very characteristic of later 70s/early 80s design. It opens by flipping up the triangular goldtone metal clasp. With Rodo signature jacquard lining in navy blue. 1970s or 1980s. 6 inches wide, 6 inches long, and 3 inches deep. The strap drop is 24 inches. Excellent condition. No finish losses to the skin. One tiny impression from the strap at one end of the clasp, not noticeable when worn. Display form is life size.
