Fabulous vintage French long sautoir with 24 large Gripoix glass beads, no two the same, and small glass based faux pearls, wired along a chain which is ornately detailed in the French style. The metal is darkened goldtone. Spring ring clasp. Long enough to wear doubled or tripled. Probably circa 1950 or 1960 but possibly earlier, given the aged metal. Wearable length is 60 inches. The largest bead is 3/4 inch wide. Excellent condition. Photos enlarged to show detail. Display form is life size.
