Amazing statement size signed Coppola e Toppo bib necklace in silver finished oblong glass beads with round smoke gray margarita Swarovski beads at the end of each drop. Circa 1960. All beads are glass. Collectors will recognize this as an important book piece. With the signature Coppola e Toppo beaded end pieces mounted in silvertone metal and with an extender chain with goldtone rings and colorless beads. Marked MADE IN ITALY BY COPPOLA E TOPPO. All the beads have an iridescent finish. The margarita beads flash blue and peach colors which are not being picked up in the pictures.

Wearable length is 17 1/2 inches. The longest center drop is 4 inches long. Overall excellent condition. One margarita bead (right of center in front) has a small loss. This is visible in enlargement 7 (at the far right of the picture) but not visible at a short distance. I can have my jeweler switch it with a bead of the same size from the back of the necklace, for a small fee. Slight loss to the finish on some of the oblong beads; this is not noticeable at a short distance. Photos enlarged to show detail. Display form is life size.
