Gorgeous large antique Victorian finely detailed necklace with reeded chain with matching detachable locket, both in Etruscan revival style with wirework and granulation, circa 1870. Very heavily rolled/plated gold. A jeweler's X-ray analysis reveals other metals besides gold, but the plating is very heavy. The chain has a spring ring clasp. Excellent condition...
