Vintage Bakelite necklace simulating cherry amber, with very large graduated oblong beads ranging in size from 30 mm long to 12 mm long. It weighs 62 grams. Circa 1930. It has been professionally restrung for security. Tests positive for Bakelite and guaranteed old and original. 18 1/2 inches wearable length and 7/8 inch wide. Excellent condition. One large bead has three small flaws, as shown, but this is not noticeable when the piece is worn. Photos enlarged to show detail.

Fabulous vintage 1970s very long and very big necklace with faceted black glass beads, and large cast silvertone metal elements with brilliant prongset rhinestones, and a matching screw barrel clasp also set with rhinestones. This is most likely a French piece; the construction of the rhinestone elements is the same as the signed French earrings I am listing. I am listing a very similar necklace which would be great to layer with this one. 60 inches wearable length...

Fabulous unusual glass beaded necklace with multi strands of purple, dark blue, pale lavender glass beads, and silvertone metal beads, with a huge dark brass mounted asymmetrical center element with giant softly faceted and smooth cabochon glass stones and a prong set brilliant purple prong set glass drop. It can be worn as a dog collar with the center as the clasp, or longer as shown, with the center as a pendant. Circa 1970, from the same estate as the Egyptian collar I am listing...

Fabulous statement drop clip earrings with red silk rosettes and black silk bows surmounting huge brilliant colorless cut lead crystal stones, all mounted in silvertone metal. Circa 1980, unsigned, probably by Yves Saint Laurent or Valentino. From the same estate as several of the other French signed pieces I am listing. 2 3/4 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. Beautiful creamy palest yellow ivory Bakelite bangle carved in a stylized bamboo form. Circa 1960. Tests positive for Bakelite. Super to wear alone or stack with other bangles. 7/8 inch wide, 7/16 inch thick, and 2 1/2 inches inside diameter. Excellent condition. Fabulous vintage glass beaded necklace with color changing alexandrite lead crystal glass beads and tiny clear glass spacer beads. Circa 1940. With a beautiful geometric Art Deco pave diamante slide clasp in silvertone metal. From a Baltimore estate and I also have listed several 1940s signed pins and clips from this same estate. The color is a pinkish lavender in natural light, and a pale aqua in white artificial light. Both colors are more intense than the photos depict...

Stunning vintage fringed necklace in textured goldtone metal with very big glass based teardrop shaped baroque faux pearls, modernist oblong chain link elements, and decorated connecting links. 1960s. Not marked, however, the design, materials and findings are characteristically French. I have another necklace listed with these distinctive chain links. A fabulous and very modern day or evening piece. Hook closure.

Wearable length is 16 inches and width is 2 inches...

In the 1960s and 1970s, Ciner specialized in costume jewelry inspired by the enameled gold and jeweled figural animal designs of the fine jewelry maker David Webb (these days Roberto Cavalli is the contemporary master of the costume version of this look). This piece is circa 1975. It is marked CINER, but so faintly on the tongue of the clasp that I was unable to get a clear photo. It did come from an estate with other signed Ciner pieces...

Beautiful statement size bib necklace made of hammered curved goldtone disks with bezel set Lucite stones in purple, green, and blue. Circa 1975. Most likely an unsigned Les Bernard; I have seen a signed version of this exact piece. Very well constructed, with the circular elements connected with braided metal chains on the back, to allow it to drape properly. An excellent very wearable and modern look. Very much on trend; the statement necklace is the "it" accessory of the season...

Fabulous very unusual vintage copper cuff with inset navy blue leather. From a Philadelphia estate that had a large quantity of Arts & Crafts and Art Deco jewelry. Very unusual vintage sautoir necklace in dark goldtone metal with very large double sided green glass faceted glass stones in bezel settings. Circa 1950 or possibly earlier. 55 inches wearable length. The green stone stations are 7/8 inch long and 5/8 inch wide. Very early 20th century antique two level tiara in dark goldtone metal with bands of prong set brilliant paste rhinestones terminating in hinges with star form decoration. Probably French, circa 1910 or 1920. It is hinged and can be worn many ways. So perfect for a bridal veil, or just with a fabulous updo! Opens to about 3 inches at center. 1 inch at center when closed. 6 1/4 inches diameter and about 13 inches inside circumference. Excellent condition...

Beautiful early vintage long sautoir necklace in small coral glass beads with larger lapis glass beads and brilliant strass rondelles. 1920s or 1930s. Such a fabulous contrasting color combination. Continuous strand. This has been restrung for security and one set of rondelles are new replacements but this is not at all noticeable. 64 inches long. The blue beads are 3/8 inch/10mm wide. This feels like Lucite with a lacquered overlay finish forming the zebra pattern on the outside and also on the inside. 1 1/8 inches wide, 1/4 inch thick, and 2 5/8 inches inside diameter.
